Floyd Mayweather Highest Paid Athlete


Social media may have made a mockery of Floyd Mayweather after he wore jean shorts to Game 2 of the NBA finals on Sunday night but the undefeated boxer has had the last laugh. Mayweather is listed as the highest paid athlete of 2015 by Forbes by taking home $300 million. Manny Pacquiao, who fought Mayweather in May took the number 2 spot on the list earning nearly half at $160 million. Tiger Woods only earned close to $1 million playing golf, the rest of his earnings were from endorsements. This is the first year in Woods’ career where he is not the highest played golfer.
