Suadi Arabia Building World’s Largest Hotel


Abraj Kudai, currently under construction in Mecca, Saudi Arabia will be the largest hotel in the world once complete. The hotel will boast 10,000 rooms, 70 restaurants, a convention center, and helipads. The hotel which is set to open in 2017 will take the number one spot from the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas which currently holds the title for largest hotel with 6,198 rooms. Abraj Kudai will costs $3.5 billion to build, encompassing 1.4 million square meters.



The MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas currently holds the number one spot for the world’s largest hotel.
