Ryan Gosling got his wish granted on Thursday to force his “twin” to stay away.
The handsome actor made claims that he and his family has been stalked for three months now by 34-year old Grace Marie Del Villar and requested a temporary restraining order after reaching his breaking point. According to an E! News report and court documents, Del Villar believes she is Gosling’s “twin soul” or “twin flame.”
Del Villar claims she knows the family “and that they know her, and that they are actually searching for her and have been for the past three-years,” all claims that Gosling denies.
She has not stopped at targeting the actor alone. The alleged stalker has tried to contact Gosling’s manager, Carolyn Govers, as well as his director and director’s wife, Derek Cianfrance and Shannon Plumb via email and regular mail. According to E! News, Del Villa even sent a torn magazine page of Eva Mendes to Govers as well as a doll catalog to the Gosling home, including her contact information each time. She also sent messages to Gosling’s sister, Mandi Gosling, stating “FYI…I am kicking your brother’s ass and his head for his darkness…”
The threat escalated even further when Del Villa flew from New York to Los Angeles on October 28 to show up unexpected at the Gosling residence. Her demands to have access to the family were denied, but worried the actor into wanting to protect himself and his family.
Due to the continued efforts to contact Gosling and his mother, Donna Gosling, and sister, the actor requested a three year temporary restraining order to require stalker Del Villa to remain a distance of 100 yards away from him and his family, including Eva Mendes and daughter Esmeralda.
