2012 Women’s Olympic Gabrielle Douglas Picture on Corn Flake Cereal Cover

The famous 16 year old American-Gymnast Gabrielle Douglas won the women’s Olympics all around Thursday has been selected to be on the Kellogg’s box cereal cover. Of course, after receiving news like this, the 16 year-old got ecstatic. So ecstatic that her smile remained on her face all day on Friday when she went to receive a medal for her outstanding work that she contributed with a lot of sacrifice and effort. Douglas stated ”I could barely sleep last night” on TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie on Friday.
On july 31st, Douglas and her teammates McKayla Maroney, Aly Raisman, Kyla Ross, and Jordyn Weiber won the team all-around gold medal at the 2012 summer Olympics. On August 2nd, Douglass won the gold medal in the individual all-around, becoming the first African American woman and the first woman of color to win the event.
